There Is Love
Many people, in fact MOST people, mistake lust for love only assuming that they don't know what love really is. The thing with people these days is that they become so preoccupied with attempting to love with their minds, that they never actually spare themselves any room to love with their hearts. Love can only survive in the depths of your heart. And love first begins when one can accept themselves and love theirselves unconditionally. Because if one cannot love or does not have love for their self, can one really expect someone else to love them? Your happiness and your contentment with yourself, justifies your ability to be happy and content with someone else.
Love is a word that is frequently misused. And the most common misuse of the word love is the definition approved by society. Everybody seems to be so interested with the universal meaning of love that they cannot, and will not, use their hearts to understand that every love is ORIGINAL. No ONE person's love with another will mean the same thing. Couples will share different experiences. Experiences that will philosophically help define love.
Love will forever just to prove its point, or it may wait for never. Love doesn't love anybody and the thing about love is, is that a person is most likely to fall in "love" if not LUST, plenty of times within a lifetime. People will suffer heartaches and heartbreaks just trying to find the person they are destined to be with. So when you love knocks you down, and you feel like all hope is lost, it is best to learn from the situation and grow stronger from it.

Could the United States have stopped Rwanda's genocide in 1994?
Between April and July of 1994, Civilians in Rwanda were fiercly at war. In particular, the Tutsis and the Hutus. The Tutsis and the Hutus were ethnic groups that lived near one another in Rwanda. For many years, the Tutsis and the Hutus were very peaceful and tranquil towards one another. But when the Hutus gained power of the Tutsi ethnic group, many Tutsis rebeled and created their own militia and guerilla army. In 1990, the Tutsis rebels attacked the Hutu president, forcing the president to distribute power among the Tutsis and the Hutus evenly. This began a civil war between the Hutus and the Tutsis. As the killings became uncontrollable, the Tutsis began seeking help from the United States. The United States was not informed of these killings until it was too late. Debates have argued that if the United States had become involved in the Rwandan affairs, could the United States have prevented Rwanda's genocide of 1994. The United States could not have prevented the Rwandan genocide of 1994 because intervening could have led to possible war with the U.S.

Emotionally Dying
So I slit my wrists,
Sit back, && watch the blood drip.
I cut to hide my emotional pain,
Oops I just hit a vein,
But I dont feel a thing.
I get high off this shit,
&& it makes me shake.
I get a rush to the brain,
&& call it a day.
&& fuck it now,
I hear the damn walls talking.
Telling me to keep cutting,
so I follow their voices.
Sit back, && watch the blood drip.
I cut to hide my emotional pain,

But I dont feel a thing.

All But a Dream
Love is nothing but a figment of our imaginations.
Something that we make up in our minds,
and somehow our hearts are manipulated into believing that love truly exists.
But it doesn't.
Love is just an excuse to escape reality.
Our fantasy.
And once that fantasy is broken,
life comes crashing down.
We become exposed to the words "I love you",
and play with it as we wish.
People create their own definitions of love,
&&it becomes over-used.
Over-rated.
But there comes a time in life when you have to wake up from that dream.
So open your eyes, and breathe.

Me, Myself & I
There is no one left, but myself.
No shoulder to cry on, no one to hear me weep.
But I guess I knew somewhere deep in my heart,
that this is how it would always be.
My own best friend, my own worst enemy.
No shoulder to cry on, no one to hear me weep.
But I guess I knew somewhere deep in my heart,
that this is how it would always be.
My own best friend, my own worst enemy.

Untitled
The date is November 28,1984 and the time is 10 p.m.
I see a figure wandering in the distant fog,
and I wonder if it is you.
I call out your name,
but all I can hear is the echo of my own voice.
It is misty outside,
and I can feel the moisture trickle down my neck.
I begin to move closer to the figure,
but with each step, I drift further and further away.
The fog begins to let up,
and I can now see a person staggering and wounded.
I approach with caution and I reach out my hand.
As I do, the person withdraws into the shadows.
I follow mindlessly.
The person leads me deep into the darkness.
The only visible thing was the trail of blood.
Everything had become total darkness.
Even myself.
For hours and house, I followed this person until daylight
brought me upon a cemetery.
I trailed the last few drops of blood that led me to a grave.
When I saw the name on the grave, my heart stopped beating.
Engraved in the tomb was my name and underneath it read:
died from a broken heart on November 28, 1984 at 10:15 p.m.
